DONATIONS

Please click the paw      to donate money to your Local Cats Protection Thank You.

On the Donations Form there is a request for us treat your donatians as Gift Aid. This is a government scheme which adds tax relief to your donations. For every £1.00 you give the government will add 28p from your taxes. It doesn't cost you a penny and when you tick the box on the Donations Form, all donations you give in the future will also be topped up with Gift Aid.

ALTERNATIVELY - The Royal Bank of Scotland and Barclays Bank encourage their employees to donate something out of their wages to charities, by contributing the same amount you donate. So if your employers run a scheme similar to this, why not donate to Cats Protection Southport & District Branch. If you know of anyone who works at one of these wonderful banks, then why not ask if they are giving to charity. If the answer is NO then ask them to consider their Local Cats Protection.

Leaving a legacy to Cats Protection

We rely heavily on generous gifts such as legacys to continue our ever-increasing work with abandoned, homeless and injured cats. We are always grateful to be remembered in Wills. Members and supporters may decide to reward the happiness given to them by their own cats by leaving either a specific sum of money or a proportion of their estate to Southport & District Branch Cats Protection when they die.

INCLUDING A CHARITY IN YOUR WILL
Did you know that leaving a donation to charity in your Will minimises your tax liability.

CARING FOR YOUR CAT AFTER YOU DIE
You cannot leave money to your cat, but you can leave money in your Will to Southport & District Branch Cats Protection on condition that we ensure your cat is looked after for the rest of his or her life.
